Spin is ubiquitous in quantum physics and technology ranging from elementary particles to quantum computer, and is also coupled to classical physics through rotational motion.We are studying the phenomena of spin angular momentum transfer from matter to matter, with the main focus on gas-solid interfaces (atom-surface interactions).
